Work / Case study / Twin Palmyra

How we promptographed a 40-year kitchen brand.

Twin Palmyra has spent four decades perfecting natural, toxic-free cookware. When they were ready to bring that craft online — across clay, stainless steel, stone and bamboo — they needed visuals that matched the soul of the products. Not generic, not glossy. Honest, warm, premium. We promptographed every single one.

The craft

One brand. Four prompt strategies.

Each material got its own prompt architecture — a defined language for lighting, mood, environment and post-process. Together they form the Twin Palmyra visual system.

Material 01

Clay cookware

Warmth without sterility

Clay photographs cold and flat under stock AI lighting. We built a prompt vocabulary around warm directional light — late-afternoon terracotta tones, soft window light, stone and jute textures. The output had to feel like food was about to be cooked, not like a product was being sold.

Material 02

Stainless steel

The hardest material to promptograph

Steel reflects everything, and AI tools normally surrender to that. Our multi-stage prompt locked the reflection environment first — soft gradient studios — then layered hero lighting, then composited brand colours into the reflections themselves. Steel that looks engineered, not generated.

Material 03

Stone mortars & grinders

Showing weight, honestly

Stock AI lighting made hand-carved mortars look like resin props. We shifted to low-angle camera prompts for presence, darker contact shadows for weight, and the gentlest surface grain to telegraph: this is real stone.

Material 04

Bamboo & neem wood

Where grain is the brand

AI smooths wood grain away in pursuit of cleanliness — killing the very feature conscious buyers pay for. Our grain-preservation prompts explicitly negate that instinct, paired with cross-lighting that makes the natural lines pop.

“The clay handi photo on our homepage looks like our grandmother's kitchen — warm, used, alive. That's what we wanted. That's what Promptography understood.”
