Work / Case study / Sankara Tissue Paper
A broadcast-grade ad film for a sixth of the budget.
Sankara Tissue Paper came to us for a product ad — and arrived skeptical. They'd priced a traditional shoot in their head: a director, a crew, a cast, a location, a composer, a vocalist for the jingle. They assumed AI would either cost the same or look cheap. We showed them a third path — and then made the film. Every frame, the original score, and the sung jingle, all AI-crafted and human-directed. Not one actor, musician or crew member was hired.

The ad that changed their mind.
The challenge
Skeptical — and rightly so.
Ad film is where production budgets balloon. A director, a DP, a crew, a cast, a location, then a composer and a vocalist for the music — the numbers climb into lakhs even for a modest product spot. Sankara had that figure in mind, and a fair fear: that AI would either cost the same or betray itself as cheap on screen.
Our job wasn't just to make a film. It was to prove a third option exists — broadcast-grade craft, at a fraction of the cost, with no compromise a viewer would ever notice. So we didn't ask them to trust us. We showed them.
The approach
We removed the risk before the spend.
01
We explained the plan
No black box. We walked Sankara through exactly how a promptographed ad comes together — where AI does the heavy lifting, and where our craft and judgement decide whether it's any good.
02
Storyboard before a rupee committed
We boarded the entire film first — scene by scene, beat by beat. Sankara approved the story they'd get before they paid for it, not after. Skepticism dissolves when you can see the film before it exists.
03
An estimate that changed the conversation
We scoped the whole production to a number that came in at roughly one-sixth of the budget they'd assumed a real ad film would cost. Same broadcast-grade ambition — a fraction of the traditional price.
The craft
One team. Every craft.
AI is the tool. Promptography is the art. Nowhere is that clearer than an ad film that would traditionally need a dozen specialists — here, directed end to end by a small team.
Every frame promptographed
The garden, the light, the product hero, the story world — each scene crafted and locked to Sankara's brand, then human-reviewed frame by frame.
An original score, AI-composed
No stock library, no licensing headache. The music was generated and shaped to the film's beats — a bespoke score for a product ad, which traditionally means hiring a composer.
The sung jingle, AI-voiced
The vocal hook — the part a customer hums after the ad ends — was AI-generated and directed by our team. No session vocalist, no studio day.
A whole crew, compressed
Director, DP, editor, composer, casting — an entire production unit collapsed into a small team of promptographers with AI as the instrument. That compression is the cost story.
The result
A finished, broadcast-ready ad film — score, song and all — for roughly one-sixth of the budget Sankara walked in expecting.
The skeptic left convinced. That's the whole case for promptographed advertising in one film.
